Downers Grove Suits Everyone
I was a successful Chicago real estate agent when I made the decision to move to nearby Downers Grove. My career was going well, but the Chicago lifestyle is hectic, especially for those children, and I have three. Downers Grove is a beautiful town with a booming real estate market, I knew I would have no problems getting a job or finding a house there. I was ready to settle down somewhere that was quiet, safe and clean.
My main concern with Downers Grove was the school system. I didn’t know very much about it, and I wanted to make sure it was above average.
In Chicago, my youngest two were in private school, and my oldest was in public school against my wishes, but at her insistence. I wanted to make sure that Downers Grove offered the same high quality education that is available in a larger city.
Before I purchased my Downers Grove home I looked at several schools. I was able to find a Montessori school for my youngest, which is where she was enrolled in Chicago. For my boy, I found a wonderful public school as well. It turns out Downers Grove public schools are some of the best in the state and rate above average. I was worried about keeping my oldest in public school because I wanted her to be as prepared as possible for college. The Downers Grove High school district scores higher than average on the ACT, which put me at ease.
I am very pleased with our life in Downers Grove. The kids love their school and I love our Downers Grove home.
