Downers Grove, Illinois Real Estate

I moved to Downers Grove, IL several years ago after I got married. My husband grew up there and he decided that’s where he wanted to settle. I grew up in Brooklyn so I was used to a completely different atmosphere. I still remember the very first time I set my eyes on Downers Grove I was pleasantly shocked. I felt like I had just stepped on to the set of a John Hughes movie. I was amused when my husband told me that several of his movies had actually been filmed in the area. How quaint! I immediately fell in love with the small city.

It’s gorgeous, and exactly as my husband had described. I thought he was exaggerating, but he most definitely wasn’t. It was difficult deciding on a home because there were so many that we loved. We saw small charming family homes, and big spacious houses.

We opted for a midsize home, which we found on Real Estate In Downers Grove, Il. Whenever I call my friends in Brooklyn they always ask me if I miss home. I always tell them I couldn’t be happier than I am in Downers Grove
